A yummy addition to any meal that is loaded with garlic and cheesy goodness! Any leftover garlic butter can be refrigerated for future uses, like pasta, vegetables etc.
If you don’t want to bake both halves of the garlic bread, you can wrap the assembled, unbaked half tightly with plastic wrap and pop it into the freezer.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Use an electric hand mixer or a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment to cream the butter until light and fluffy. Add the pressed garlic and dried parsley. Mix until well combined.
Cut the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise, separating into the top and the bottom. Place the loaf halves on a baking sheet.
Generously (very generously) spread the garlic butter to the edges of each half. Any extra garlic butter can be refrigerated for future use. Sprinkle with shredded cheese blend.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until the loaf is heated through. Turn the oven to broil and broil on high for 2–3 minutes until the cheese is bubbling. Garnish with fresh parsley. Slice to serve.
