Gram flour ladoos with ghee and sugar.
Sift the gram flour once to loosen it a bit. Add warm milk to flour and mix thoroughly with your hands so the milk is entire absorbed and evenly distributed. Now run this mixture through a sieve again so that ladoo will have nice texture.
In a skillet over low heat, add ghee. When the ghee is hot, add the flour and fry it over low heat. This should take roughly 15 to 20 minutes. The best way to check if your flour is fried or not is by its aroma—it starts smelling nutty when it is perfectly fried and the color turns golden. Do not burn it else ladoos will taste bitter.
When the flour is done, turn off the heat. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Set aside for 5-7 minutes.
While still warm, mould the ladoos by hand and top each one with dried fruit. Enjoy!
Notes:
If you want more ghee flavor in the ladoo, add another 2-4 tablespoons ghee while moulding the ladoo.
The amount of sugar in the mixture can be increased or decreased to taste.
