A little trip to the orange groves, a bag of Florida oranges, and a few cups of fresh blueberries are the keys to this muffin classic.
Preheat oven to 400°F. In a medium sized bowl combine oats, orange juice and zest; mix in oil and eggs then set the bowl aside.
In a large bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Add oat mixture and mix lightly. Fold in blueberries.
Spoon batter into a paper-lined 12-count standard size muffin tin, filling each liner 2/3 full. Combine pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl then sprinkle this over the batter in each cup. Bake at 400°F for about 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned.
