Very easy to make. These have been a winner in my family for quite some time.
Mix lukewarm water and yeast. Add sugar and the oil. Add 4 cups of flour. Stir well. Pour out onto remaining 2 cups of flour. Knead; let the dough rest for 20 minutes. Pull some dough off and put into a muffin pan after diping in melted butter. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees. (Before baking, I usually let the rolls rest for another 10 minutes after putting them into the muffin pan.)
I have tried adding some garlic to the melted butter. You can also put cheese or herbs on top of the melted butter. It is delicious.

These rolls turned out really yummy. I’ve gotten rave reviews from dinner guests!
I also added a teaspoon of salt while mixing them and have had to add a little extra flour a couple of times I’ve made it to get the right consistency.

I have added up to a teaspoon of salt wihle mixing these.
I have added herbs, and different kinds of toppings to spread over top of these rolls before baking. Have turned out good.

These buns are very light, which is nice, but they are lacking salt.

I’ve got these in the oven right now. This is the first time I’ve made bread from scratch! I can’t believe how easy it was. lol
