A simple pie made from cream, sugar and cinnamon.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Roll out pie dough to fit a 9 inch pie plate, or use a frozen pie dough. Press dough into pie pan, and pour cream into the bottom of the pie shell. Sprinkle evenly with the sugar, and then sprinkle enough cinnamon over the cream to cover the filling.
Bake for 30 minutes or until crust is browned and filling is bubbling.
This is a very simple recipe that my grandmother and mom make with leftover pie dough. You many need more cream than 1/2 cup, just so it is enough to cover the bottom of the pie crust at least 1/4 inch.

The filling is not thick at all, it just barely covers the bottom of the pie crust. It sets a bit after it bakes, kind of to a jelly-like consistency.

Well, I do love pie…and easy stuff! So tell me, how thick is the filling? It’s just cream right? Does that set up at all or what?
