Description

The name basically describes the ingredients—peaches and yogurt with the addition of lemon juice, almond milk and a little sweetener.

I would just like to note: This is a fabulous smoothie/shake if you stop before the freezing part.

Frozen yogurt popsicles made with fresh fruit don’t just taste great, they are good for you too! You can TaylorMake your version with just about any fruit and/or fresh berries.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Ripe Peaches, Halved And Pitted And Roughly Chopped
  • ½ Tablespoons Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • ¼ cups Coconut Milk Or Almond Milk
  • ½ cups Greek Yogurt (plain, Vanilla Or Use The Same Flavor As Fruit You Are Using)
  • ½ Tablespoons Agave Or Honey
  • 10  Popsicle (sticks)

Preparation

Note: There is no “cook” time—only 4 hours of freezing time.

Place peaches, lemon juice, milk, yogurt and agave into a Vitamix blender or food processor and puree until smooth.

Transfer mixture into a measuring cup with a spout for easier pouring. You should have about 4 cups of fruit and yogurt puree.

Pour mixture into popsicle molds (mine made about 10 standard size popsicles), leaving about 1/2 inch of room at the top for freezing expansion add popsicle sticks.

Insert a stick into each mold. Place in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours. To remove from molds, just run a little warm water over the outside of the mold until they come loose.
