Description

Delicious pound cake trifle filled with all the flavors of a delicious Take5 candy bar: caramel, peanut butter, chocolate, peanuts, and pretzels.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (9 1/4 Oz. Size, 5 Mini Cakes In A Box) Entenmann's Mini Pound Cakes
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 3 ounces, weight Chocolate Instant Pudding Mix
  • ⅔ cups Peanut Butter
  • 8 ounces, weight Cool Whip
  • ⅓ cups Salted Peanuts
  • ⅔ cups Pretzel Twists
  • 7-¼ ounces, weight Dulce De Leche Caramel

Preparation

1. Cut pound cake into small cubes.
2. Cover the bottom of a trifle bowl with half of the pound cake.
3. Pour cold milk in a bowl and whisk in pudding mix.
4. Let pudding set in fridge while continuing to work.
5. Fold in peanut butter into Cool Whip.
6. Chop up peanuts and pretzels in food processor.
7. Warm up caramel sauce.
8. Cover pound cake with half of the chocolate pudding.
9. Pour half of the caramel sauce on the pudding.
10. Top with half of the peanut butter frosting.
11. Sprinkle half of the pretzel/peanut mixture on the frosting.
12. Repeat with another set of layers of cake, pudding, caramel, peanut butter frosting, and peanut/pretzel topping.
