Krispy Kreme: born in North Carolina and enjoyed worldwide. Everyone knows that Krispy Kreme donuts are sold by the dozen, and since some of us will acknowledge that only 10 will make it to the kitchen, this recipe uses 10 donuts. For those with willpower, you can adjust the amount of liquid accordingly!
Drain syrup from canned blueberries and reserve ½ cup.
Mix ½ cup syrup, eggs and sour cream in a large bowl.
Cut donuts into 1/8ths and add to bowl. Toss and let sit 5 minutes. Toss again and let sit 5 more minutes. Add the blueberries and turn or mix gently. Place in a greased 8” or 9” loaf pan.
Mix the sugars and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of the donuts.
Bake at 350ºF for 40-45 minutes.
