Description
A Salty Dog Cocktail is a refreshing citrus drink. What makes this one special is the rim of vanilla bean salt.
Ingredients
- 1 whole Grapefruit, Cut In Half
- 1-½ ounce, fluid Grapefruit Juice (freshly Squeezed)
- 1-½ ounce, fluid Vodka
- 2 Tablespoons Vanilla Bean Salt
- 1 whole Grapefruit Wedge
Preparation
Cut a grapefruit in half, juicing one half. In a martini shaker add ice, 1 1/2 ounces of the juice and vodka and shake to mix.
Cut a small wedge off of the other grapefruit half (this will be your garnish). Put the vanilla bean salt on a saucer.
Rub the rim of glass over the remaining grapefruit and then set the glass onto the salt to coat rim.
Pour cocktail into the glass, add the grapefruit wedge and enjoy!
