The blue cheese gets kind of crusty around the edges. In a very sexy way. Need I say more?
Preheat oven to 400 F and let dough come to room temperature for 30 minutes, if it was previously chilled.
Prepare a bundt or other medium-sized cake pan by spraying it with cooking spray.
Put the butter into a microwave-safe bowl. For 20 seconds at a time, heat the butter in the microwave. Continue until melted.
When totally melted, let the butter cool for 2 minutes, then stir in garlic and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
Dust the pizza dough with flour to prevent sticking. Pull away little bits of dough, about one ounce each, and gently shape them into balls. They don’t have to be perfect! Place the dough balls into a large bowl.
Pour the blue cheese crumbles and the butter mixture into the bowl with the dough bits. Use your fingers or a large spoon to lightly toss everything together, then pour the butter-covered dough into the prepared cake pan.
If necessary, according to your pizza dough directions, let the dough rise. If not, just go ahead and bake it for 15-20 minutes until puffy and golden on top.
Let the bread rest for 5 minutes, then turn it out onto a serving platter. Fight over any extra blue cheese bits.
Heaven on Earth, y’all.
