Okay, I admit I am slightly obsessed with Nutella. So much so really, that I don’t keep it in the house at all unless I have to have it to use in a recipe.
Preheat oven to 325ºF. Line 12 muffin tins with paper liners.
Cream together butter and sugar. When it is a creamy consistency, put the eggs in one at a time, beating until fully mixed. Add vanilla, flour, baking powder, and salt.
Fill each muffin liner with batter (they should be approximately 3/4 full). Top each with 1-1/2 teaspoon Nutella. Take a toothpick and swirl the Nutella into the muffin batter.
Bake for 20 minutes.
