Brownies with a cream cheese swirl. There is also a peanut butter variation, which is in a separate recipe.
Mix first 4 ingredients together in a large bowl. Sift next 4 ingredients together and add to the egg mixture. This makes your brownie mixture.
Soften cream cheese and butter or margarine, then mix with 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and milk.
Spread half of the brownie mixture in a greased 9×13 pan. Spread the cream cheese over the top, then dot with rest of the chocolate mixture in blobs. Gently run a knife through the layers to create a marbled look.
Bake at 325F for 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

I took these to a work potluck and they went over really well but I felt like they were missing something. I would probaby make up double to the cream cheese part next time. But they were very good.

I made these last night and they were a hit! I also added an egg to the cream cheese mixture to make it more spreadable. The brownies are very moist and almost cake-like, and not too chocolatey. I will definitely make these again.

This is pretty much the perfect recipe for Cream Cheese Brownies. I had to add an egg to the cream cheese mixture to make it spreadable enough but these came out tasting oh-so-good! My husband asked for seconds and told his mom “Hey Mom, you’ve gotta try these!”

I can’t believe how moist these turned out to be. Very delicious and easy to make.
