Watch out, Rice Krispies. These treats are on marshmallow overload (in a good way). This was always my favorite childhood cereal and I couldn’t resist turning it into dessert.
Use butter to grease a 13 x 9 pan and spatula. Set aside. Put the cereal in a large bowl (start with 6 cups) and set aside.
Melt 1/4 cup butter in a pot on the stovetop over medium-low heat. Add marshmallows or marshmallow cream and stir until melted and blended together smoothly. Add vanilla and salt and mix to combine.
Pour marshmallow mixture over the cereal and use the buttered spatula to mix as you pour. Combine thoroughly until all the cereal is evenly coated (you may end up using anywhere between 6-7 cups of cereal to get the right ratio).
Spoon marshmallow and cereal mixture into pan and use spatula or your fingers to spread it evenly and flatten the top. Once the mixture has cooled, cut it into 16 rectangles (or however many you’d like). Enjoy your trip back to childhood!
Note: You can use 4 cups of mini marshmallows instead of the regular kind. Also, I’ve noticed that using the marshmallow cream makes the finished bars a little more sticky and likely to slowly fall apart, but the taste is the same.

Seriously, I love lucky charms!! I can’t buy them because I can’t be trusted around them. Way too yummy. With that said, I can’t wait for an excuse to make these :)))
