Description

Peppermint brownies without any dairy.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • ¾ cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Canola Oil
  • 1-¾ teaspoon Peppermint Extract

Preparation

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
2. Pour in the water, oil, and peppermint. Mix until well-blended.
3. Spread evenly into a prepared 9×13 in. baking pan.
4. Preheat oven to 350ºF (I put this step further down because my oven heats insanely quick).
5. Bake mix for 25 to 30 minutes; until the top is no longer shiny.
6. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares. Or just dig in.

I prefer them cold, as well. Glad you enjoyed them!

These are fantastic…even better when eaten cold. I love how they are chewy and crumbly they are! I accidentally ran out of peppermint extract and they were still good. In my opinion, as good as the boxed version! Thank you so much!
