Description

We added pretzel sticks to my family’s favorite peanut butter brownie recipe. So addictive!

Ingredients

  • 6 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Softened
  • ½ cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Broken Pretzel Sticks, Broken

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F.

In the bowl of your mixer, beat together the butter, peanut butter and brown sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract and set it aside.

In a small bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add this into the mixer bowl a little at a time, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips and pretzel pieces.

Spread batter into a lightly greased 9″ baking dish.

Bake at 350 F for 25 to 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Enjoy!

Good idea but the pretzels just weren’t right. Kinda stale tasting. Could have used a bigger pan too because the bars were almost 2 inches thick in the 9″ pan. Otherwise, they tasted really good.
