It doesn’t get any easier than this to make perfect rice (save perhaps a rice cooker, but I just can’t spare the counter space!).
Place dry, raw rice into a 9×13 glass baking dish.
Top with scattered pats of butter.
Pour boiling water over to cover rice.
Cover baking dish with aluminum foil.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350 F.
(You can easily doctor this one up too, using broth, etc. and dried mushrooms. Go wild!)
