This is how sister makes her pecan pies.
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. Mix syrup, sugar, salt, butter, vanilla.
3. Add slightly beaten eggs.
4. Pour filling into pie shell.
5. Sprinkle pecans over it.
6. Bake for approximately 45 minutes.
7. Crust has tendency to burn before filling is set, so you may want to put pie crust shields on.
