Easy homemade almond milk, heavily spiced with vanilla!
Soak the almonds in some of the distilled cold water overnight. When preparing the almond milk, discard the water you soaked the almonds in and wash the almonds under running water.
In a blender, combine the almonds with 300-400ml of water, sugar and vanilla seeds (scraped out of 1/3 of vanilla bean) and blend till the almonds are completely ground. You can start tasting the almond milk at this stage (you will taste a lot of ground almonds) and add more water according to your taste or you can pass your almond milk through a muslin cloth (squeezing out very well) and add more water then. By adding more or less water, you can make the almond milk to the creaminess of your liking.
