Bring sexy back to the kitchen with these beautiful and easy poached pears.
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Poach pears over low heat, covered, for about 30 minutes or until fork tender.
Remove pears from the saucepan and continue to let the remaining liquid simmer until reduced to about 1/4 cup with a syrup-like consistency, about 20 minutes. Remove the cinnamon stick.
Serve pears with syrup drizzled on top.
