Don’t make these when you’re trying to watch your diet! They’re too good to pass up and smell heavenly baking. I get rave reviews every time I make them.
Heat milk and margarine in a microwave safe bowl until margarine is melted. In a large mixing bowl, add 2 1/4 cups flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Add water, egg and milk mixture. Mix well. Add remaining cup of flour, 1/2 cup at a time.
Turn out onto floured surface and knead for 5 minutes. Cover dough and let rest and rise for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix together ingredients for cinnamon mix. (Sometimes, this mixture seems too thick to spread easily. I pop it in the microwave for 10-20 seconds to soften, which makes it much more spreadable.)
Roll dough out into a 12″x9″ rectangle. Spread with cinnamon mixture. Roll up and slice into 12 even slices. Place in a greased 13″x9″ baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
Bake for 20 minutes in a 350 degree oven (325 degrees if using glass), or until light golden brown.
While rolls are baking, mix together icing ingredients.
When rolls are finished baking, remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Spread the cream cheese icing over top, covering evenly. Rolls should still be warm enough to allow this to melt a bit.
Now, see how long you can wait until you MUST have one! Try not to burn your tongue.

Awesome, made them today and we had them for dessert. Everyone loved them. These will be my go to cinnamon rolls for awhile. Thanks for the recipe.
