Description

Just like the monster cookies, but so much easier and every bit as good!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1-½ cup Peanut Butter
  • 3  Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 4-½ cups Quick Cooking Oatmeal
  • 1 package (12 Oz. Size) Chocolate Chips
  • 1 package (12 Oz. Size) Miniature M&Ms

Preparation

Mix ingredients, in the order given, in a large mixing bowl. Press into a jelly roll or 9 x 13″ pan. Bake at 350ºF for 15-20 minutes. Do not overbake.

These were way too rich and sugary… I probably won’t make again, but if I did, I’d pick either M&Ms OR chocolate chips, not both. And I’d probably cut the sugars by 1/4 cup each.

These took about 30-35 min to bake for me as well. I didn’t add as many choc chips or m&m’s and I think that was a mistake…they are a bit on the salty/baking soda side.

These were very easy to make and taste great! They did take about 30-35 minutes to bake though but I used an 11×14 pan instead of a jelly roll pan.
