Description

South African meatballs flavoured with fruit chutney.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef Or Turkey
  • ½ cups Oats
  • 1  Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup Parsley, Finely Chopped
  • 1  Egg, Beaten
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Mrs Balls Chutney (or Apricot Jam/preserve)
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Form balls with your hands.

Place the balls on a rimmed baking sheet and bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes (or until done) or fry in hot oil until done.

Serve as an appetizer or as an entree (with mashed potatoes and a salad).
