Whiskey cooked peaches under a bed of crisp pecans and buttery deliciousness!
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
In a skillet, combine drained peaches and 1/2 cup whiskey. Simmer until most of the liquid has been absorbed.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, pecans, oatmeal and cinnamon. Gradually add melted butter, remaining 1 tablespoon whiskey and vanilla. Combine with a fork. Add more butter or whiskey if the mixture is too dry, or not of the right consistency. The crumb mixture should hold together, but not be wet like cookie dough. If the mixture is too wet, add more oatmeal or pecans.
Place peaches in baking dish(es). Lay the crumb mixture on top. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until brown. Be careful not to burn the pecans on top!
Enjoy!

Yum! We need some help though. Would you please indicate the amount of peaches needed? Please make sure to type in an actual amount (and not a range) in the Quantity field, as our system needs that to be an actual number so it can perform conversion calculations. For example, if want to put 3 to 4 cups of peaches, you can enter “3” for the quantity, “cups” for the measurement, then in the ingredient name, you can type in “peaches, or up to 4 cups, as needed” to indicate the range. We’re working on a fix that will trigger an error message when an invalid entry is in the quantity field, so hopefully this won’t be an issue in the near future. Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience!
