See what ten minutes can do to turn a simple can of black beans into something truly awesome!
In a medium sauce pan, melt butter and sauté onions over high heat until they begin to brown.
Add remaining ingredients, and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
Notes: I prefer the Goya beans because they are tender. You can find guava nectar in 12 ounce cans in the Mexican food section. If your fresh salsa doesn’t have a good bit of cilantro in it, mince a tablespoon of fresh cilantro to add to the beans. It really complements the sweetness of the nectar.
