I had so many bananas that I had to do something with them. Muffins are always my first choice when I have extra fruit. These are especially yummy!
Preheat oven to 375. Lightly grease 10 muffin cups, or line with muffin papers.
For Muffin:
In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, allspice and salt. In another bowl, beat together mashed bananas, sugar, egg and melted butter. Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture just until moistened. Spoon batter into muffin cups.
For Crunch:
In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and cinnamon. Cut in 1 tablespoon butter into brown sugar mixture. Sprinkle topping over muffins.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes (until a toothpick inserted into center of a muffin comes out clean).

These were wonderful! I made them last night and my husband ate 3 in one sitting LOL. I will be making these again – this recipe is a keeper!

These were wonderful! I was worried because the batter seemed so thick but they turned out perfect. I will definitely make these again- great use for old bananas! Thanks for the recipe!

Loved these! I made them with my 3 year old friend. He had a great time mashing bananas! I added crushed walnuts and mini chocolate chips. They turned out fabulous and I can’t wait to make them again.

…These were excellent! I followed the recipe as stated and these muffins are absolutely scrumptious and easy too! I know I’ll make these again in the future and I think the only thing I would try differently is maybe a more “streusel” like topping and some finely chopped walnuts.
…Thank you ‘delightfullysweet’ for the recipe!

These were very good. The first recipe I tried as a new member of this site!
