Description

Cookies turned muffin tops. A delicious accident.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Applesauce
  • ⅔ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¾ cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter
  • ½ cups Oats
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ cups Dark Chocolate Chips

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat.
3. In the bowl of a mixer, mix applesauce, sugar, egg and vanilla.
4. Add flour, peanut butter, oats, baking soda, and chocolate chips and mix.
5. Drop rounded scoops onto the lined cookie sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes.

I wondered that myself. I can’t ever bring myself to shell out the cash for those thing. I guess even if they aren’t the same, they’re still awesome!
