I remade/healthified my mom’s recipe for cut-out sugar cookies. We have made the original recipe for the past 30 years. A family favorite!
Cream together butter, agave nectar, egg yolks, and vanilla.
In another bowl whisk together salt, flour, and baking powder.
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture a little at a time, alternating with milk.
Cover mixture and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
When dough is chilled (it should be a bit hard), divide into four balls. Roll out on a floured surface and cut with cookie cutter of choice.
Put on an ungreased pan, decorate with colored sugar if you choose, and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes. Transfer to wax paper-covered paper towels and allow to cool completely. Store in an airtight container. May be frozen.

I did some math, using non-fat milk and not even counting the carbs from the vanilla and baking powder, 1 cookie has about 8.5 carbs. That’s with fiber already counted… You need to remove your low-carb tag from this recipe.
