Turkey Joes served on pita bread or for lettuce wraps.
Turn stove top to medium heat. In a skillet, add olive oil, minced garlic, and tomato paste. Add the Italian seasoning, chili powder and onion powder, allowing to brown for a few minutes. Add the raw ground turkey and mix well with the seasonings and cover (the cover is optional). Simmer for 25 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool for 15 minutes, letting the flavors develop further.
I love serving these on soft pita bread or making lettuce wraps with the Turkey Joes. It’s super tasty.
