Description

Sweet Sesame Green Beans are great right out of the oven or chilled as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Skinny Green Beans, Stems Removed
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 dash Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400 F. Line a rimmed cookie sheet with foil and place a rack over the foil. Spread the green beans in an even layer across the rack.

In a small bowl combine the olive oil, sesame oil, brown sugar, salt, pepper and cayenne. Stir with a fork. Using a silicone or pastry brush, brush the mixture onto the green beans until evenly coated. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds.

Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, until the green beans are al dente. Toss a couple of times throughout the cooking with tongs.
