My friend Tammie shared this recipe with me that her grandmother made for years.
Combine all ingredients well. (I find it helpful to let the potatoes thaw halfway, otherwise it ends up in a big lump!) Dump into a 9×13 pan. I sometimes top this with buttered bread crumbs, or corn flake crumbs. Bake at 350F for 40-45 minutes.

This is awesome! And easy too! I used frozen shredded hash browns instead of cubed. Delish!
