Description

Everyone loves these carrots! Even my family members that don’t like carrots eat them and rave! I can’t go to any family dinner without them now.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Peeled, Sliced Carrots
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • ¾ cups Water
  • 1-½ teaspoon Salt

Preparation

While you are peeling and slicing your carrots, in a medium saucepan bring water to a boil over medium heat. Add all the other ingredients, cover and let them cook for about 40 minutes, or until the liquid has cooked off. That’s it! They are so easy and SOOO nummy!

My water didn’t really boil down, so mine didn’t really get a glaze on them. Maybe cook with lid half on next time?

My family loves these so much that my son texted me for the recipe when he was at his girlfriend’s house so they could make them there!

I like these especially because they are sooo simple to throw together….sometimes I don’t even measure it out, just eyeball it and throw it in the pot!

I made these the other weekend – so yummy and so simple! I didn’t even peel my carrots, just sliced them up and cooked them. Everyone had seconds!!
