A change up from the vegetable burritos served at most restaurants! I grew tired of biting into a whole piece of unflavored broccoli and cauliflower when we went out to eat, and the only thing on the menu for me to eat was this kind of “veggie burrito”. So I created my own version of a very yummy veggie burrito, with flavor! I hope you also love it!

One of my mother’s friends shared this recipe with our family back in 2000. It has been a family favorite ever since and every time I take it to a gathering people love it and want the recipe.

This punch is a great hit at parties and is fun to eat. You can even freeze it and have a frozen desert!

I have had this recipe for quite awhile and am not even sure who I got it from. You can even make the batter the night before and put it in the refrigerator. The next morning you can add the blueberries. These are delicious and your family will beg for more! Very unique taste.

Homemade maple syrup made from ingredients you probably have in your kitchen already. Goes great on Perfect Pancakes!

This tart is made easy by the use of puff pastry.
Adding the grated fresh ginger, gives it a delicious treat. I buy fresh Bosc pears and let them sit about 3 days room temperature.
I usually serve it with vanilla ice cream, but just found a Ginger Ice Cream, that makes it amazing. Either way this is an easy and delicious dessert. And it makes an amazing presentation.
It’s adapted from my class teacher, Helen Rennie.

Crunchy water chestnuts are wrapped with savory bacon and baked in a brown sugar sauce for an easy party snack. They are a cinch to make and stay warm on the buffet table or cocktail tray for quite a while. If they last that long!
