A fragrant dessert with a moist cake and delicious homemade caramel.
My husband and I sit in our hot tub nightly in the fall, winter and spring months. We chat and he decompresses from his day. One of my favorite things to sip on is Grown Up Hot Chocolate.
Many years ago, we found a Schnapps called Rumplemintz made in Germany, and we love love love it. It is 100 proof so a little goes a long way, and unlike regular Schnapps, it isn’t as sickly sweet.
Katsudon is a Japanese rice bowl with tonkatsu. Tonkatsu is deep fried pork chop (Japanese pork cutlet).
I love this dish so much, I am addicted to it! I cannot get enough of the thin panko-crusted pork cutlet and the amazing flavors in the rice!
I don’t deep-fry the cutlets. I just fry them in enough oil to get them nice and crispy.
I hope you enjoy it!
These muffins are a huge hit in my family. My niece started devouring them by the half dozen when she was just 2 years old. They are best served warm with honey butter, but are great anytime!
The batter can be prepared ahead and kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Nancy is the Coupon Clipping Cook, which means she not only has an astounding number of recipes to share with us (her TK recipe box is busting at the seams!) but she's also got loads of money-saving tips in her blog (she worked at a grocery store for a number of years, so she knows her stuff). She has some pretty amazing creations, like Roasted Garlic Potato Soup and Nutty Coconut Chicken. Go check them out!
Heather is a Texas native and the blogger behind Heather's Dish. She's mom to Weston, wife to Nate, and they live in Little Rock, Arkansas with their two "stubborn and saucy" dogs Bunker and Keira. In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
