I mixed and modified my two favorite cookie recipes several years ago and came up with this. It’s a favorite wherever I take them.

This hearty winter soup can be made un-vegan with the simple addition of some bacon or a ham hock. Topping each bowl with a dollop of sour cream adds that extra oomph!

My mother used to make this one for special occasions! It’s called a Russian cake, but really it’s a traditional German recipe. It’s a rich, smooth cheesecake that has a delightfully crumbly, chocolate crust that is also dotted over the top of the cake.

This is a great chicken marinade. It is fast and easy but full of flavor.

This is another recipe taught to me by my mom. It is a great pasta dish with bold flavors that are sure to please even the pickiest of eaters!

I live in Georgia, so a traditional buttercream made with (delicious!) real butter is out of the question unless I want to present a gloppy mess. This recipe is great for piping and decorating, and tastes good, too!
Nancy is the Coupon Clipping Cook, which means she not only has an astounding number of recipes to share with us (her TK recipe box is busting at the seams!) but she's also got loads of money-saving tips in her blog (she worked at a grocery store for a number of years, so she knows her stuff). She has some pretty amazing creations, like Roasted Garlic Potato Soup and Nutty Coconut Chicken. Go check them out!
Heather is a Texas native and the blogger behind Heather's Dish. She's mom to Weston, wife to Nate, and they live in Little Rock, Arkansas with their two "stubborn and saucy" dogs Bunker and Keira. In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
