Mom’s Zucchini Bread

by tonbec and filed in Breads, Quick Breads

My mom always made this when zucchini is in season. I take it to work and it is gone in no time.

Sweet Potato Crescent Rolls

by babskitchen and filed in Breads, Dinner Rolls

Great any time of year, but particularly around the holidays. These can even be made up in advance, frozen, then just thawed and reheated. The sweet potato flavor is not really overwhelming so don’t be afraid to try them, even if you don’t care for sweet potatoes.

Great Aunt Edna’s Swedish Rye Bread

by mylittlesoapbox and filed in Breads, Whole Grain Breads

This is a moderately sweet rye bread that I consider more of a breakfast bread. Fantastic with red current jelly!

Mom’s Buns

by rancherswife and filed in Breads, White Breads

My Mom has always made fresh bread and buns and is known for how easy she makes it seem. In reality, her recipe is easy and tastes amazing!

Banana-Oatmeal-Honey Bread

by Celia and filed in Breads, Quick Breads

This is adapted from a Cooking Light recipe for my son, who is allergic to dairy and eggs. I also added some wheat flour to see how it tasted. It turned out light and delicious! You could make this vegan by using rice/soy milk in place of the the goat milk, and adding the juice of half a lemon.

Cinnamon Rolls with Bread Machine Dough

by holderman1325 and filed in Breads, Sweet Rolls

This is the most delicious thing I have ever made, hands down. They are so soft and delicious! The recipe below includes the minor changes I made. I know Ree’s are hugely popular, but the bread machine takes off some prep details. The time looks long but that includes bread machine time as “cooking” and rising time as “prep”

Chocolate Zucchini Nut Muffins

by ClassiclyAmber and filed in Breads, Muffins

Soft, moist, chocolate…oh, and there’s zucchini, too! Yeah, it’s a wonderful treat for breakfast or snack time or ANY time! To make these as just Totally Zucchini Muffins, simply omit the cocoa and organic sugar. Still super good!

Vanilla Bean Blueberry Muffins

by rosiespeaking and filed in Breads, Muffins

A delicious departure from the usual blueberry muffin from a cook who doesn’t usually like blueberry muffins. These hold their shape nicely and still taste great the next day.
