A Christmas staple in our home. Easy to make with items I usually have on hand.

A rich, creamy guacamole, great for putting out the fire of spicy foods. The cream cheese makes all the difference!

A creamy, spicy version of the American Classic cheese spread. It is great on a tomato sandwich or eaten by the bowlful with a bag of Fritos before the rest of your family even knows you made any!

This is a cheese spread my grandmother made often. She would put it in canning jars and pass it out as gifts to each family at Christmastime. It is unconventional but wonderful! It is best served on Wheat Thins.

Layers of cheese mixture and spinach pesto make a pretty appetizer. Very nice for the holidays!

An easy black bean and sour cream-based dip. This can be served immediately, but it’s so much better to refrigerate it overnight.

This little dip was one my mom discovered while we were living in … you guessed it … Beaumont, Texas. As the recipe card says, “always a hit!”
Nancy is the Coupon Clipping Cook, which means she not only has an astounding number of recipes to share with us (her TK recipe box is busting at the seams!) but she's also got loads of money-saving tips in her blog (she worked at a grocery store for a number of years, so she knows her stuff). She has some pretty amazing creations, like Roasted Garlic Potato Soup and Nutty Coconut Chicken. Go check them out!
Heather is a Texas native and the blogger behind Heather's Dish. She's mom to Weston, wife to Nate, and they live in Little Rock, Arkansas with their two "stubborn and saucy" dogs Bunker and Keira. In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
