Description

These chicken wings have an easy-to-put-together marinade using ingredients you probably already have in your pantry and refrigerator. The recipe is easy to double or triple, which makes them perfect for parties!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Chicken Wings
  • 6 Tablespoons Soy Sauce (I Use Lite Soy Sauce)
  • 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons ( Heaping) Applesauce
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced

Preparation

Remove wing tips from chicken wings; split wings or leave whole. Rinse well and drain.

In a small bowl or glass measuring cup, combine soy sauce, sugar, applesauce and garlic; mix well.

Place chicken wings in a resealable plastic bag and pour marinade over. Place bag in the refrigerator at least 4 hours (can leave overnight), turning bag occasionally so that marinade will coat wings.

Line a baking sheet (make sure to use one with sides) with foil; spray foil with nonstick cooking spray.

Remove wings from marinade and discard marinade.

Place wings on prepared baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes, turning the wings over halfway through baking time.

These can be baked, then transferred to a slow cooker set on Low, which makes them wonderful to serve at parties or take to get-togethers.

Just made these wings for dinner tonight. We loved them! They were super easy to make and left little clean up. They had a delicious subtle flavor and weren’t messy to eat at all. I’ll definitely be making these again!
