Savory pecan-stuffed mushrooms.
Wipe mushrooms with damp paper towels to remove any excess dirt. Snap off stems and place in a food processor. Add salt, onions, and garlic and mix for just a few seconds. Next add, crackers, butter, parmesan and pecans and mix for just a few seconds again. Blend according to the consistency you desire. I personally don’t blend it too much, I like a little crunch!
Next using a butter knife I carefully fill each mushroom cap with the stuffing and lay on a baking sheet. When all finished, I grate some more parmesan over all the mushrooms. Bake for 20-25 minutes in a 350 degree oven…♥
