A quick, easy, and delicious appetizer for the holidays!
Place slice baguette on a baking sheet and broil just until they start to brown; turn and place back under broiler for about one minute. Set aside.
Place butter in skillet over medium heat. When melted, add mushrooms, green onions, salt and pepper. Cook about 4 minutes or until mushrooms are soft. Add half-and-half, Parmesan and parsley; stir and cook for about 2 minutes. Spoon over toasts and place under the broiler for about 2 minutes. Watch carefully and remove when edges of the bread start to brown. Serve immediately.
