Description

I like easy, so I buy the “party wings” that are already cut into sections.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ pound Chicken Wings, About 16 Pieces
  • 1 cup Finely Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil Leaves
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ cups Milk
  • 4 Tablespoons Melted Butter

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees .

For easy cleanup, line a large baking sheet with foil and spray the foil with cooking spray.

Rinse wings and pat dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl or ziplock bag, combine cheese, flour, basil and salt.

Dip the chicken wings in milk and coat with the cheese mixture.

Place on the pan and drizzle with melted butter.

Bake for about 35 to 40 minutes, turning the wings over halfway through the cooking time.

Drain on paper towels.

I as well dipped them in buttermilk and added garlic powder. I also felt it could use more salt for my taste. But I loved them and this will definitely be my go to recipe for chicken wings. Thanks for sharing.

Two big thumbs up on this recipe. I did tweak it by adding roughly 1/3 teaspoon garlic powder (all of my cloves had started sprouting or I would have finely grated one of them) and maybe a 1/4 to a 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper to the seasoning, and I substituted buttermilk for regular milk. Very easy to make and a total crowd pleaser for TV-watching parties.
