Description

These Cinnamon Butterscotch Energy Bites are a healthier snack option that take just minutes to throw together. Keep them wrapped in twos in the fridge for a quick grab!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Ground Oats
  • ½ cups Crisp Rice Cereal
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 2 Tablespoons Protein Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Ground Flax Seed
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Peanut Butter
  • ⅛ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • ¼ cups Honey
  • ¼ cups Butterscotch Chips

Preparation

If you haven’t already, grind 1/2 cup of oats in a blender. Combine cereal, whole oats, ground oats, protein powder and ground flax in a bowl.

In a microwave-safe bowl, mix together brown sugar, peanut butter, cinnamon and honey and heat in the microwave in 15 second intervals, stirring intermittently, until melted.

Pour liquid mixture into dry mixture and stir to combine. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Remove from fridge and roll into balls, then press some butterscotch chips into each ball.
