Description

A perfect snack for the Super Bowl!

Ingredients

  • 8 whole Wheat Tortillas
  • Olive Oil For Spritzing
  • Sea Salt And Pepper
  • 5 ounces, weight Cooked, Shredded Chicken
  • 1-½ cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 1-½ ounce, weight Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese
  • ¼ cups Buffalo Wing Sauce (or More If Desired)
  • ¼ cups Chopped Scallions, Plus More For Garnish
  • Chopped Avocado, For Garnish

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 450ºF.

Cut the tortillas into wedges and spritz with olive oil, then sprinkle with sea salt and pepper. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. (You can also skip this step and use tortilla chips.)

Once finished, add a layer to the bottom of a baking dish, then top with chicken, cheese, buffalo wing sauce and your other toppings. Continue layering until chips and ingredients are gone. Bake for 5-10 minutes, until cheese melts. Drizzle additional wing sauce over top and garnish with more scallions and avocado.

Oh wow! I cannot wait to try this. I love anything buffalo wing style. Also about the tortilla chips….I did not ever think about baking them – I will definitely give this a try for game night!

For nachos, they’re not ooey gooey enough for me. But they were still pretty good!

Love this! It’s a new Sunday night football staple for my boyfriend and I! Before cooking the chicken breasts, I tossed them in the buffalo sauce to let the flavor bake in more.

I made half of this for dinner for my fiance and myself. He doesn’t like bleu cheese so I cut back a tad on the gorgonzola, but we devoured the whole dish. It was so quick and easy and the “homemade” chips were great and held up to the weight of everything.

This was an easy, tasty snack for gameday. Watch out on the buffalo wing sauce (I put a little too much and, boy, was it spicy)! Overall a great snack food!

Preparing so much for superbowl sunday that I skipped making my own chips, used a good quality corn chip. Left the avacado off (someone was allergic). This was fabulous, everyone loved it, it’s been eaten before the game has started. LOL. I tossed the chicken in the wing sauce, layered chips, gorgonzola, chicken shredded cheddar and green onions. Yum! Thanks! :)
