Description

It tastes just like a baked potato without the potato! Serve it on tortilla chips or eat it by itself. I won’t judge you.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 8 ounces, weight Sour Cream
  • 1 jar (3 Oz. Jar) Real Bacon Bits (from The Salad Dressing Aisle)
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 1 bunch Chives, Chopped

Preparation

Mix the cream cheese and sour cream until combined well. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and then put it all into an oven safe dish. Bake at 350F for approximately 30 minutes or until warm and bubbly. Serve with tortilla chips or anything else that floats your boat.

I honestly never thought of having it with potato chips. So glad you posted about that. I really like it on crusty bread or even crudites. MMMM I can’t wait for football season.

I have made this for years and get RAVE reviews every time! It is amazing how much it tastes like a baked loaded potato. I serve mine with potato chips. Gives it more of a potato taste I guess.

This dip is amazing! I served it with kettle cooked potato chips and we devoured it. I didn’t have time to heat it in the oven, so I heated it in the microwave for 3 or 4 minutes. So easy and tasty.

I made this for a book club meeting and it was a HUGE hit! It was really, really easy. Although mine never got “bubbly” it was still warm and delicious. I served with bread and kettle-cooked potato chips.
