Description

This is an extremely popular dish that is perfect for the fall season or anytime, actually. It’s wonderful for the fall season as well as the Christmas holidays because of the colors and smells: red, green, apples, cinnamon, etc. Everyone asks for the recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Rome Apples
  • 4 whole Kiwi
  • 1 carton (about 16 Oz.) Fresh Strawberries
  • ¼ cups Fresh Lime Juice
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 8 ounces, weight Whipped Cream Cheese
  • 2 bags (8 Oz. Bag) Stacy's Cinnamon Pita Chips

Preparation

Dice all fruit finely. Mix lime juice and sugar together until sugar is dissolved. Pour over fruit and mix well. Mound cream cheese onto a dish and pour fruit mixture on top. Serve with cinnamon pita chips.

This makes a lot of fruit, so replenish it as necessary on top of the cream cheese. You can make the fruit salsa several hours ahead of time and assemble when you’re ready to serve. It’s very pretty for the holidays and people feel like it’s a healthy alternative because it’s fresh fruit!

I made this for a party last night and everyone wanted the recipe! With all of the candy and cookies that guests brought, everyone said this dish was “refreshing”! I couldn’t find the cinnamon pita chips anywhere so I used ginger snaps, some graham crackers, and plain sea salt pita chips. Thank you for sharing!
