Description

A great, easy and quick dip to make and eat with tortilla chips for Superbowl, Cinco de Mayo or any occasion. The cream cheese bean dip just melts in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages (8 Oz. Package) Cream Cheese
  • 1 can (18 Oz. Can) Chili With Beans
  • 1-½ cup Sharp Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 jar (16 Oz. Jar) Mild Salsa (optional)
  • Tortilla Chips, To Serve

Preparation

First grease an 8×8 or 9×9 baking glass caserole dish/pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

1. Spread cream cheese on the pan.
2. Pour chili with beans on top of cream cheese layer.
3. Top off with shredded sharp cheese.

You can make as many layers in this order as you want. You can also add mild salsa with the layers of the dip. Bake in the oven for about 30-45 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.

I just love this recipe, tho when my son began eating this type of food (not baby food), about 15 years ago, he did not like the beans, so we switched to beanless chili then. This is a staple at all football game parties! Yum!!
