Description

So easy and so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 box (16 Oz. Size) Saltines
  • 1-¼ cup Canola Oil
  • 1 envelope (about 1 Oz. Size) Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 3 Tablespoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

Preparation

Preheat oven to 250ºF.

Add the crackers into a large mixing bowl.

Add oil, powdered Ranch mix and red pepper flakes and stir so that each cracker is well coated. Let sit for 5 minutes to fully soak up the oil mixture. I used a rubber spatual to mix so that the crackers were less likely to break.

Lay them out on an aluminum foil lined cookie sheet and drizzle the additional oil mixture over the crackers.

Bake for 10 minutes and stir crackers around halfway through.

Let cool and store in an airtight container.

Note: you can adjust the amount of crushed red pepper to taste if you can’t handle as much heat.

I love this recipe! It takes next to nothing to make, and not much time either. It’s a great snack to whip up any time! I brushed the oil on my crackers and put the dry mixture in a ziploc bag and shook a few crackers at a time. I’ll need to dial back the heat a little next time. They keep well in a tupperware container, but the heat gets a lot stronger as they sit. Very yummy!
