We make these all the time. My family loves them. Sometimes I add veggies to it and call it “stir-fry” and serve it over rice. Both are yummy! Thanks for a family favorite!

I just made these today for lunch & they were incredible!

These were SO tasty! It made a lot of filling so make sure you have plenty of lettuce. I used iceberg lettuce, but I think I will try a more “cup” shaped lettuce next time, to make it easier to scoop up the filling with the lettuce. (it gets deliciously messy!) Great recipe!!!!

I have made the several times now. They are a new favorite at our house. All our family and friends love them. I like to add carrots and red bell pepper for more veggies and serve it with coconut rice. (just make rice with coconut milk rather than water.) After the first time, to make it a little easier, I did the onions and garlic first then just moved them to the side and threw in the chicken. Thanks so much for this yummy recipe.

just finished chowing down on these for dinner tonight. nice light meal for an early summer evening! not one thing I’d change. didn’t have sesame oil for marinade but didn’t miss it at all! very flavorful and fun to eat! would be great on an appetizer buffet.

My friend and I made this for dinner tonight – YUM! I didn’t let it get as brown as the recipe called for but it was still very good. We made it as a dinner with Spanish rice and spring vegetables and it was very filling but fresh. Definitely will make it again!

yum! made this for dinner tonight, quadrupled the sauce and the cashews…left some whole….rather than wrapping in lettuce, i served this with white rice, thinly sliced leaf lettuce, and julienned yellow pepper and cucumber. i also drizzled a dab of sauce on the raw veggies. also used freshly grated ginger instead of ground. will make again!!!

We love these! Even my kids, a few of whom can be on the picky side! Yum. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve made these about 5 times now, and my husband and I both love them! I’m on a low carb diet and they are perfect. I use the Splenda-blend brown sugar, which helps cut down just a little bit on the few carbs there are in there. This recipe is awesome!!!

these were fantastic! the only adjustments i would make for next time is to double the sauce (i like things saucy) and to make sure i had ginger in my cupboard. very, very tasty. i used green leaf lettuce which gave just enough “cupping” and bend-a-bility in the lettuce to successfully wrap around the filling.

Made these last night and they really were great! I’ve tried a few similar recipes before, and this one was by far the tastiest and simplest. Warning though – made it as a dinner for two, and wish I had doubled the recipe – it only made about 5 wraps (we were really hungry though!)

Just made this for dinner and it is AMAZING. Added water chestnuts per the suggestion of another commenter, and because I love them. The sauce flavor is great! A little messy sure, but its worth it

These were delicious! The sauce was perfect-o! I did add water chesnuts and mushrooms per the request of hubby, but it’s just fine without.

I made these for dinner last night. They were super delicious. My brother in-law walked through the dining room on his way out just as I was serving. He was drooling over the lettuce wraps and asked me to e-mail him the recipe.

This was absolutely delicious!! I added diced water chestnuts and thought they really added something extra. I used green leaf lettuce but will probably try iceberg next time because my leafs were too limp and my mix kept falling out. Other than that, totally perfect.

This was really good! Even my pickier kids ate it well.

These were fantastic! I used about 2 c. of leftover shredded chicken, added about 1/2 c. julienned carrots with the onion, and used peanuts instead of cashews. My husband couldn’t get enough. Thanks for a great recipe!

Ah Ha! So you were the one that posted this fabulous recipe. I saw it and couldn’t remember where I read it. Thanks for posting. I’m gonna make this!

I made this tonight with a few modifications.
First, I used boneless chicken legs instead of breasts because that’s what I had on hand (I used four). Second, I made the sauce as speciffied, but it didn’t seem like it would be enough so I upped the quantities of everything by taste. A pinch more brown sugar, a couple extra shakes of sesame oil–you get the idea. I used pimenton instead of ground red pepper, again because that’s what I had on hand. I also added a splash of pineapple juice at the end for no real reason.
Lastly, I served this over rice instead of making lettuce wraps.
When I make these again I’m going to add some sliced carrots, celery, and maybe some scallions during the step where you brown the onion. I might also top it off with some snow peas.
FYI, since I didn’t make these into lettuce wraps my mileage might be different, but this DEFINITELY was not six portions. More like 3.
This was delicious and I can’t wait to make it again!
