This recipe is quick, easy, simple and very tasty. You can either have just plain cheese and tomato or you can have it American style! It’s very easy as it can be made by me! (a 12 year old). Enjoy!
Preheat oven to around 190 C.
Place whole baguette on a pan and place pan in oven for approximately 5 minutes. Take bread out of oven and place on plate. Cut bread in half down the center and then cut each half in half horizontally.
Place a teaspoon of puree on the top of all four slices of bread and spread. Place a half slice of Swiss cheese on each slice of bread. Squirt two lines of American mustard over cheese on each slice (about a teaspoon each). Place a half slice of either ham or pastrami on each slice. Place 3 slices of thinly sliced New York Pickle on each slice of bread.
Place pan back in the oven for around 8-10 minutes. Enjoy!
