Fact: Candied pecans are stars in parties, salads and life.
1. Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
2. Lightly toast pecans for 3-4 minutes in toaster oven on “Toast” setting (the same as you would toast bread), being careful not to burn them.
3. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, stir brown sugar, olive oil and balsamic vinegar together until well combined.
4. When the mixture bubbles, take pecans from the toaster oven and add them to the saucepan, stirring to coat. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
5. Pour the pecans out onto the prepared baking sheet and spread them out so that they are not touching one another. Cool to allow the coating to harden.
