Description

Tangy, tasty, cheesy goodness!

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cups Margarine
  • ¼ cups Flour
  • ¼ cups Whipping Cream
  • Garlic Salt And Seasoning Salt To Taste
  • 1 package 8 Oz. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 package 8 Oz Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 bottle 12 Oz Beer (Lager Works Well)
  • 2 dashes Grated Nutmeg
  • 1 loaf French Bread, Cubed

Preparation

In medium sauce pan, over medium heat, melt butter or margarine. Add flour to make a paste. Slowly add whipping cream until all is well blended. Add seasonings. Start adding cheese and beer slowly until both are well blended and melted into sauce. I use whole nutmeg and grate myself. Transfer to fondue pot and serve with bread cubes.

You can mix up the types of cheese to fit your personal preference. You can also use non-alcoholic beer. Add more or less cheese and beer based on the consistency you want.
